About the Artist
For me, it depends on the art itself, but I would say mostly I like to do a still life of a fruit or some flowers. To at least show my creativity.
The reason why I do make art for fun is because I like to show my creativity to people. And I want people to know I am a graphic designer who can still make art not in graphic design form, but I can still make art in a painting, on a canvas, or whatever. I can pretty much make anything, so long as there’s opportunity there to show creativity.
Chiarina started coming to BEING in August 2024. Chiarina took art class in high school and learned graphic design while completing the Adaptive Learning Program. Her creative practice continues to grow and develop as she learns more about painting, drawing, and design.
Currently, Chiarina paints still lifes and often depicts the natural world. She mostly works with acrylic paint and markers, and her bold style and strong black outlines recall tattoos and stained glass.
Chiarina also has a passion for graphic design, and she has made invitations, stickers, and programs for Allegro Music School. Her dream is to one day start her own business and design the website.
