About the Artist
I have done a lot of art. I have been part of BEING Studio since 2015. My friend Alyssa inspires me, and also my parents too, because my parents are professional artists. My mom is a felting artist, and she does a kind of felting: wet on wet. And my dad is an artist, and he does animation gaming.
I would say that I’m very happy because I love to connect with friends and do art, and I really love having friends who are there for me to support me in my artwork. I like to share my art stuff so people can see.
Lizzy comes from a family of artists, and grew up in Ottawa, Ontario. Her work is inspired by art made by her family and friends, who motivate her to try new things like photography. Lizzy takes beautiful photographs of nature, and she likes using pencil crayons and markers for her drawings. Lizzy draws things she loves, including characters from her favourite TV shows, and the moose mascot of her summer camp, Camp Misquah.
In 2022, Lizzy’s drawing appeared on Camp Misquah’s t-shirt, and in 2025 she designed the Camp Misquah race shirts for Ottawa Race Weekend. Lizzy would like to learn digital art and expand her photography practice in addition to continue her drawings and clothing designs. Lizzy has been coming to BEING Studio since 2015.
